Les situations pratiques impliquant l&#8217;eau au voisinage du point de cong\u00e9lation sont nombreuses. L&#8217;objectif est de mieux comprendre la physique de ces mouvements convectifs inhabituels mal d\u00e9finis. L\u2019auteur travaille aussi sur l\u2019\u00e9tude de la sensibilit\u00e9 des pr\u00e9visions m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques dans l&#8217;Arctique caus\u00e9e par l&#8217;erreur dans l&#8217;analyse extratropicale et vice-versa. Ses activit\u00e9s de recherche concernent \u00e9galement l&#8217;utilisation des vecteurs singuliers (SV) pour initialiser le syst\u00e8me global de pr\u00e9diction d&#8217;ensemble (EPS) dans le contexte du mod\u00e8le de pr\u00e9vision num\u00e9rique GEM (Global Environmental Multiscale) d&#8217;environnement Canada.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: normal; margin: 5pt 0cm;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">Tout r\u00e9cemment, l\u2019auteur a publi\u00e9 trois articles dont l\u2019un porte sur l&#8217;\u00e9tude des perturbations qui affectent la propagation des trains d&#8217;ondes de Rossby (ondes plan\u00e9taires), originaires de l\u2019ouest du pacifique et pouvant significativement influencer la pr\u00e9visibilit\u00e9 des conditions m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques extr\u00eames (High-impact weather).
